Here are some strategies that can help
·        Plan It In Your Schedule – Cleaning out your clutter could easily take up hours if you have big amount of clutter to clean out. Set aside time in your schedule & break down the tasks into different parts. For example, set aside x amount of hours to clean out your closet, followed by your storage room and so on. This will make cleaning out your clutter less overwhelming and more manageable.
·        Start With A Small Area – When there are too many things to clear & you are not sure where to begin, start off with a manageable spot. If it is your room, start off with your table, if it is your bureau; pick one of the smaller compartments. Before you know it, you will be done with that area and you are ready to go onto the next.
·        Finishing Cleaning First, Then Organize – Some people try to clear the clutter & the organize at the same time.  It is much easier to organize when you know what are the all the things that need to be sorted.  Not only that, it can be both mentally and physically distracting to go back and forth between cleaning and organizing.
·        Schedule A Regular Clutter-Clearing Session – After you are finished cleaning out the clutter, schedule a quick 30 minute session every week as a form of maintenance. With continuous maintenance, you will get to acquire the benefits of a clutter free home.
