Adults with ADHD tend to show their emotions easily such as anger.  When adults get angry their emotions can get agitated, they can become impatient and irritable and sometimes lose control over their actions and reactions.  If you let your anger grown & hold it within you, you are just wasting precious time & energy and harming your health. Not letting your anger arise is not an easy talk; however it doesn’t mean that you can do something about it. Here are a few simple tips to overcome your anger.

·       When you feel yourself getting angry, take a few deep breathes, then count to ten (but twenty is better) before reacting or saying something that you may regret later

·        Say this over and over again in your mind that anger will not help you in any situation

·        Try to react calm and peaceful in every situation. Try this over and over regardless of how many times you feel yourself getting angry.

·        Don’t take anything someone says or does personal, it is not worth it. It will only bring more anger, more stress and more unhappiness
